Mousebrair is a pretty brown she-cat with a white tabby tail and stunning yellow eyes. She had the ability to sense strongly other cats emotions.

The Beginning

She is first seen playing with her brother, Cloudkit. Mousekit's mother, Whitefire is woken by the dawn patrol, led by Whitefire's mate Wheatfall, leaving camp. She talks to her brother and Clan deputy, Shrewtalon. Cloudkit dares Mousekit to stand in the river, and she does so, but it is icy cold.

While Cloudkit is busy messing around in the water, Mousekit follows a beatiful butterly out of camp. She finds herself lost and calls for help. An old rogue she-cat called Shino comes to her, she is badly injured and needs help. Wheatfall and his patrol come and help Mousekit and Shino, taking them back to camp. She is scolded by Whitefire and is mae to apologise to Cloudkit who was very worried about her.

Rabbitdapple and his apprentice, Freshpaw help Shino, but they know she will die shortly. Shino has a messgae for Cloudkit and Mousekit and while they are left alone, she tells them. The two kits must go on a dangerous journey to find Death Cave. There, they must fight for their lives, until the truth, about themselves and about their destiny is undercovered. A legcacy, from Shino's dead mate, Tam, is thrown into the mix. They will become strong warriors with their names echoed around all the Clans.
